God So Loved
Come all you weary, come all you thirsty
Come to the well that never runs dry
Drink of the water, come and thirst no more
Well, come all you sinners, come find His mercy
Come to the table He will satisfy
Taste of His goodness, find what you're looking for
For God so loved the world that He gave us
His one and only Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him will live forever
Bring all your failures, bring your addictions
Come lay them down at the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting there with open arms
For God so loved the world that He gave us
His one and only Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him will live forever
The power of hell forever defeated
Now it is well, I'm walking in freedom
For God so loved, God so loved the world
Praise God, Praise God
From whom all blessings flow
Praise Him, Praise Him
For the wonders of His love
John 4:3-10 CEB
Reader: Therefore, he left Judea and went back to Galilee. Jesus had to go through Samaria. He came to a Samaritan city called Sychar, which was near the land Jacob had given to his son Joseph. Jacob’s well was there. Jesus was tired from his journey, so he sat down at the well. It was about noon. A Samaritan woman came to the well to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me some water to drink.” 8 His disciples had gone into the city to buy him some food. The Samaritan woman asked, “Why do you, a Jewish man, ask for something to drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” (Jews and Samaritans didn’t associate with each other.) Jesus responded, “If you recognized God’s gift and who is saying to you, ‘Give me some water to drink,’ you would be asking him and he would give you living water.”
Reader: The Word of God for the people of God.
Community: Thanks be to God.
Closer
Your love has ravished my heart
And taken me over, taken me over
And all I want is to be
With You forever, with You forever
So pull me a little closer, take me a little deeper
I want to know Your heart, I want to know Your heart
'Cause Your love is so much sweeter than anything I've tasted
I want to know Your heart, I want to know Your heart
Oh, oh how great Your love is for me
Oh, oh how great is Your love
Oh, oh how great Your love is for me
Oh, oh how great is Your love
Message
The encounter between Jesus and Photina offers us a lesson in the connection between what God asks of us and our needs.
The More I Seek You
The more I seek you
The more I find you
The more I find you, the more I love you
I wanna sit at your feet
Drink from the cup in your hand
Lay back against you and breath, feel your heart beat
This love is so deep, it's more than I can stand
I melt in your peace, it's overwhelming
So pull me a little closer, take me a little deeper
I want to know Your heart, I want to know Your heart
'Cause Your love is so much sweeter than anything I've tasted
I want to know Your heart, I want to know Your heart

Eternal God, we give thanks for this holy mystery in which you have given yourself to us. Grant that we may go into the world in the strength of your Spirit, to give ourselves for others. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
